Some things I like to keep in mind when I build in order if importance:

#1 Does my partner have enough room?

#2 Can I reach the front of his CY?

#3 Can I get there?

#4 Is the base blocked?

#5 Check again to make sure partner has enough room.

Start making better decisions about deploying.
